Damn, Rocketown. Get it together.
Following news earlier in the week that an employee at the Nashville-based Rocketown music venue was fired after wearing a Hostage Calm shirt promoting same sex marriage, word of a new incident at the Tennessee establishment has made its way to UTG.
According to various sources at the venue, as well as tweets from band members, it seems Volumes frontman Michael Barr was attacked by someone last night following his onstage song dedication to a homosexual friend. You can view a selection of Tweets from Barr and other members of Volumes below, as well as a complaint posted to the group’s Facebook from someone who attended the show. If you have any further information regarding this incident, please let us know.
Fuck Rocketown! I will never play here again.
